Detectives from Biloela CIB have release a comfit image of a man who may be able to assist with investigations into an incident on Monday, May 30 where a driver grabbed a teenage boy.
At around 4pm a young teenage boy was walking along Bell Street when a silver 2014 Toyota Camry sedan (or similar) pulled up beside the boy, with the driver leaning over and opening the front passenger door.
The male driver spoke with the boy causing the teen to lean-in. At this time the man grabbed the boy’s wrist. The boy pulled back, broke free and ran off. He was not physically injured.
The silver sedan, which had a small black and white fuzzy dice hanging from the rear view mirror was last seen driving onto Gladstone Road, heading east.
The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, is described as a man aged around 40, Caucasian, tanned, tallish with a stocky proportionate build, short light brown hair, blue eyes and a small gold sleeper in his right ear (see comfit image).
Anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident, or noticed the vehicle is urged to immediately contact police.
Detectives would also like to speak to any motorists with relevant dashcam footage and are asking home owners / business owners who reside in the nearby vicinity to review their images.
