Detectives from the Organised Crime Gangs Group have released footage of a vehicle and man who may be able to assist with ongoing investigations into the arson of a Heritage Park home in July.

On Saturday July 20 at approximately 9.30am, emergency services were called to a fire at a Kelsal Court address.

As a result of further investigations and a forensic search of a vehicle that was seized from the Broadbeach property, police located a concealed loaded firearm and large amounts of cash. The 26-year-old man was arrested at the Southport Watchhouse and charged with unlawful possession of weapons category D/H/R weapon (COA short firearm in public), dealing in proceeds of crime worth $10,000 or more and unauthorised possession of explosives.
