Leading financial services ESG publication The Sustainability Report has today been officially re-launched as FS Sustainability.
FS Sustainability provides expert, in-depth news and analysis of how environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) factors are integrated into both retail and institutional investment, and corporate strategy across ASX listed companies.
The re-brand to FS Sustainability reflects the alignment of the publication with Financial Standard and its suite of titles that cover Australia’s wealth management landscape, including FS Advice, FS Super, FS Private Wealth and FS Managed Accounts.
This announcement has come after the acquisition of The Sustainability Report by Rainmaker Group in October 2019.
“Responsible investment and taking into account ESG factors is now a mainstream investment issue for all fund trustee boards, their fiduciaries and the capital markets,” said Christopher Page, managing director of Rainmaker Group.
Illustrating this, almost two thirds of Australia’s investment and superannuation market – around $2 trillion – is managed by fund trustee boards and investment managers that are signatories to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI).
Australia has the fourth highest number of global signatories to these protocols according to the UN PRI.
In completing the re-launch, managing editor of the publication, Rachel Alembakis, reinforced the publication’s commitment to reporting on the latest ESG investment news in saying “the deep dive and analysis of all things ESG integration will still be the heart of our coverage, maintaining its focus on how ESG considerations are integrated into retail and institutional investment decision-making and the corporate strategy of ASX listed companies.”
“Investors are pouring more of their savings into ESG-led investments every day and they expect the industry to confidently integrate ESG principles into every dollar they manage,” said Michelle Baltazar, executive director of media at Financial Standard.
As part of the transition, FS Sustainability has also launched a , updated social media footprint and a weekly digital newsletter.
The change also includes launch of an annual ESG journal, FS Sustainability: The Journal of ESG Integration, which will showcase the best ESG whitepapers published throughout the year and highlight key people and events.
