Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a burglary at a business in Sydenham in November.
Investigators have been told two men attended a hairdressers on Overton Lea Boulevard about 10.45pm on 14 November.
They broke into the premises, armed with storage crates, and removed hair products worth $25,000 from the shelves.
The men then left the store.
Detectives have been told there was another burglary at the same premises on 27 October where hair products were also stolen.
Officers are investigating if the incidents are linked.
Investigators have released CCTV footage of two men they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
