Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Tallarook this morning.
It is believed a truck came off the Hume Freeway and became wedged under a tree around 4am.
Emergency services attended the scene but the driver could not be revived.
Police are investigating whether the man experienced a medical episode prior to the crash.
Victoria Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
