Horsham Rural City Council and the Victorian Seniors Festival Reimagined will host the Tania Kernaghan Band at the Horsham Church of Christ on Friday 1 April.
The Covid safe and free event has been rescheduled from last October and is the last show on the award-winning country singer’s regional Victorian tour.
Bookings are not necessary however patrons need to comply with vaccination requirements.
Mayor Robyn Gulline said a local seniors week planning group supported HRCC to design the event.
“This event provides seniors in our community an opportunity to socialise and enjoy entertainment after some difficult months and years,” she said.
“We all recognise the challenge seniors in our community have faced during these times is important,” Cr Gulline said.
A free morning tea will be provided from 9.30am before the show runs from 11am to 12noon.
There will be access to an all abilities bathroom and individual bathroom facilities at the event.
Bus Route 3 Horsham – Wawunna Road and South Bank has a drop off near the front of the venue.
