Tasmania has the second-best business conditions in the country according to the NAB Quarterly Business Survey.
Treasurer, Guy Barnett, said that the Tasmanian Government is continuing to slash red tape, work hand-in-hand with industry and champion a Team Tasmania approach.
“We know that good business conditions mean a good economy,” the Treasurer said.
“This latest quarterly survey says that there is the framework in place for businesses, investors and jobs to thrive in Tasmania.
“The Tasmanian Liberal Government is working hard to ensure we can continue to grow our diverse economy through our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future.
“The hard work is proving successful and will continue to grow our economy – which is currently worth a record $40.6 billion.
“We want to continue seeing businesses thrive, we want to champion Tasmanians and their ingenuity, and our approach has seen business conditions near top of the nation.”
