Two teenage intruders were caught red-handed inside a service station at South Plympton overnight.
Police were called to a silent alarm at a service station on Cross Road, South Plympton at 3am on Sunday 17 November.
Patrols arrived within a few minutes to find a smashed window and the intruders still inside the store.
It will be alleged the boys had thrown a brick through the window to gain entry. After unsuccessfully trying to access the till and cigarettes, they helped themselves to snacks.
The 16-year-olds were arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and theft.
They were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 10 January.
