Telstra announces next generation Adaptive Mobility and Adaptive Networks solutions

23 November 2022 – Telstra today announced its next generation of connectivity solutions for enterprise customers, giving them greater flexibility and value across its plans and network options.

The next evolution of Telstra’s Adaptive Mobility and Adaptive Networks solutions means customers can pick and choose how they connect, in a way that works for their business.

Telstra Enterprise Group Executive David Burns said that to compete in today’s digital world, organisations were looking for new ways of working, real time-time collaboration and innovative business models that will keep them on the front foot.

“This evolution of our Adaptive Mobility and Adaptive Networks solutions puts all the control in the hands of our customers. It gives them heaps of optionality, alongside fast and flexible connectivity, with full confidence in the solutions’ security and performance, to get the most out of every dollar that they spend.”

The next step in Adaptive Mobility

Telstra’s Adaptive Mobility plan refresh sets a new benchmark for enterprise mobile connectivity with more choice, flexibility and value.

The new plans include the removal of speed caps for included data allowances; data sharing for Enterprise Wireless services; bundled international calling and SMS and managed service and security options. Customers also get all the benefits of high-speed, low-latency 5G on Australia’s best and largest 5G network.

“We’re making our Adaptive Mobility plans work harder for our customers. Month-to-month no lock-in contracts have always been a proposition we believed in, but we’re taking it a step further by removing speed caps when using data allowances and enabling data sharing across Enterprise Wireless services on the same billing account. Plus, we’ve thrown in international calling and SMS on most plans for good measure,” said Mr Burns.

Next generation Adaptive Networks

The next iteration of Telstra’s Adaptive Networks solutions are designed to give customers more options when connecting via fixed, wireless and cloud, with the easy ability to scale connectivity up or down and move bandwidth between services as business needs change.

Adaptive Network capabilities now span Adaptive Access (now including 4G/5G wireless); Adaptive Network Partners such as Cisco, VMWare and NBN; Adaptive Assured Networks, previously known as Managed Data Networks (MDN); Adaptive Design Centre including Telstra Programmable Networks (TPN); and Managed Network Services.

Mr Burns said the improved solutions offered customers a simpler way of managing a dynamic network to support their changing business needs.

“We’re no longer talking to customers about fixed infrastructure, such as multi-protocol label switching (MPLS), but instead a coordinated and holistic connectivity and networking solution, led by managed services.”

The new Telstra Adaptive Mobility and Adaptive Networks solutions are available for customers to order now.

“Our customers are looking to drive growth, digitisation and efficiency, and that’s why, across both these critical connectivity portfolios, we’re removing the complexity and serving up simple, modular and secure solutions, so customers simply plug and play to suit their needs,” concluded Mr Burns.
