Under Schedule 11 of the Local Government Act 1989, Council approves the temporary closure of the internal road of Riverside Park (along the river,) a portion of the Riverside Park pedestrian footpath (along the river) and parts of Riverside Park for Yana Waingi – Walk in Lights event.
Internal Road closure: Tuesday 18 April – Monday 1 May.
Riverside Park pedestrian footpath closure: The footpath will be open daily between 6.00 am and 5.00 pm. Footpath to be closed from 5pm each day from Tuesday, 18 April – Monday, 1 May.
Riverside Park: Part of Riverside Park will be closed from Tuesday, 18 April – Monday, 1 May. *Play elements will still be accessible.
Speed reduction signage will be in place along Monash Drive from Friday, 21- Sunday, 30 April restricting traffic speed to 40 km/hr.
