Ballina Shire Council wishes to advise that our Water team will be renewing the recycled water main along Angels Beach Drive, Ballina from Tuesday 11 July 2023.
The work site will extend from Sheather Street to the southern side of Prospect Bridge.
Work is expected to continue for approximately five weeks (weather permitting) and work hours will be 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
During this time the following traffic changes will be in place:
• Speed limit reduced to 40km/h through sections of the construction zone.
• Traffic control will be necessary at times with contraflow in place. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time as short delays may be experienced.
• Pedestrian/cyclist access will be maintained along the shared path.
This essential recycled water main renewal is part of Council’s ongoing commitment to improve our shire’s water assets and will improve the reliability of the local water network.
