Community housing provider Regional Housing Limited (RHL) will manage the property and offers are being made to potential tenants for the remaining 28 units.

Quotes attributable to Housing Minister Meaghan Scanlon:

“Shovels are in the ground right now building hundreds of homes through our record $5 billion for social and affordable housing – the largest concentrated investment in social housing in Queensland’s history.

“While we have a strong focus on building new properties, we are also supplementing construction with strategic purchases, like this complex in Gladstone.

“This approach helps to ensure our housing portfolio continues to grow and evolve and responds to local need.”

Quotes attributable to Member for Gladstone Glenn Butcher:

“This complex in Gladstone Central is right in the heart of town and will provide 34 safe, secure and sustainable homes for people in our community who need it.

“This complex will provide help for the most vulnerable in our community, complete with modern kitchens and amenities.”
