Theft and deception in St Kilda

Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary and subsequent deception in St Kilda last month.

It’s believed at least one person entered a house on Mitchell Street sometime between 11.30am-1.20pm on 20 August.

The offenders stole a handbag containing house keys, car keys, wallet and credit cards whilst one occupant was watching TV and another two occupants were in the backyard.

The credit card was then used at a business on Acland Street about 1.20pm and a business on Carlisle Street about 2pm.

The first male is described as between 18 to 30-years-old and was wearing a black cap, black ‘Aviator’ style sunglasses, a black puffer jacket, blue jeans and black and orange runners.

The second male is described as between 18-30 years old and was wearing a black ‘North Face’ branded puffer jacket, grey jeans and black runners.

The female is described as 18-25 years old and was wearing a black beanie, a white crop top, blue jeans and black boots.
