Third man arrested over Munno Para disturbance, South Australia

A third man has been arrested in connection with a violent disturbance at Munno Para West last week.

Police received multiple calls to triple zero at 10.30pm on Thursday 27 June reporting a fight at Carbone Drive, Munno Para West.

It will be alleged two men attended an address and assaulted the occupant. An altercation ensued involving other people, with one of the suspects sustaining serious head injuries.

Previously police had arrested a 25-year-old Mawson Lakes man who also sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Lyell McEwin hospital for treatment. He was charged with aggravated assault cause harm and aggravated criminal trespass

A second suspect, a 22-year-old of no fixed place, was charged with aggravated assault cause harm and aggravated criminal trespass.

Northern District Police have now arrested and charged a third person over the incident. A 35-year-old man from Munno Para was arrested late Friday night 28 June and charged with aggravated affray.

He has been bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 29 July.
