A man is due in court tomorrow charged by detectives investigating a public-place shooting at Chester Hill earlier this month.
Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command seized a loaded firearm, an extendable baton, cannabis, and cash when a home was searched at Auburn today (Friday 13 October 2023).
The arrest was the third by detectives attached to Strike Force Pylara detectives, established to investigate a public-place shooting at Everley Road, Chester Hill, about 9.30am Monday 2 October 2023.
Following extensive inquiries, detectives attached to Cumberland Police Area Command arrested a man just after 10am today (Friday 13 October 2023), when a search warrant was executed at a home on Gordon Road, Auburn.
The 19-year-old was taken to Auburn Police Station where he was charged with in company rob while armed with dangerous weapon, take or detain person in company with intent to obtain advantage and possess unauthorised pistol.
The man was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Bail Court tomorrow (Saturday 14 October 2023).
Two men remain before the courts after being arrested when a search warrant was executed on Thursday 6 October 2023, at a home on Desmond, Merrylands West.
