Police have arrested three men after an allegedly stolen vehicle was tracked and chased through multiple suburbs this afternoon.
A black Holden Commadore, which was allegedly stolen overnight, was tracked in Melbourne’s north-east about 2.50pm.
With assistance from the Air Wing, the vehicle was followed through Chadstone.
Police attempted to intercept the car on Punt Road before it allegedly sped off.
It is alleged the occupants dumped the car at a fast-food restaurant car park on Canterbury Road in Blackburn South.
They fled the scene in a waiting black utility, which was allegedly stolen.
The utility was involved in a collision with another vehicle on Orchard Grove.
There were no injuries, and the black utility did not stop at the scene.
Three men allegedly got out of the utility on Fulton Road in Blackburn South and fled the scene on foot.
A 36-year-old Dandenong man got onto a bus where he was arrested.
A 24-year-old Doveton man and a 31-year-old Burwood man entered a property on Fulton Road and were arrested a short time later.
The three men are assisting police with their enquiries.
