Three Beaconsfield brothers are looking forward to slashing their mortgages after their private syndicate scored more than $700,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Melbourne residents held one of the eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4339, drawn Saturday 18 February 2023. Each division one winning entry won $685,236.47.
In addition to winning division one, the trio’s marked System 10 entry also won division three 24 times, division four 90 times and division six 80 times, bolstering their total prize to $704,700.17
“I feel like I’m giddy!” one of the brothers confessed when his prize was confirmed by us.
“I couldn’t stop looking at it on Saturday night. It was about 11pm and I thought I’d check my ticket.
“I thought, ‘holy sh**!’. It really takes you by surprise. We play every week, but we don’t expect to win division one.
“I play each week with my brothers. These are just numbers we each chipped in a while ago, and we kept playing them.
“We’ve had little wins, but nothing major like this. This blew them away on Saturday night. I took a screenshot and sent it to them. They didn’t believe me otherwise.
“We’ve all got mortgages, so anything to reduce those is handy.
“It’s a gift!”
