Three men have been stabbed during an aggravated break and enter incident at Fairfield Heights overnight.
About 2.40am (Saturday 18 May 2019) a woman and her 31-year-old male friend returned to her home in Ligar Street.
Two men aged 18 and 24-years were also residing at the home.
The woman knocked on the door as she could not find her keys and she was let into the home with her companion.
While the door remained ajar, another man forced his way into the home, brandishing a knife and threatening the occupants.
The 31-year-old man was approached by the offender and stabbed in the shoulder and head.
The two younger men approached the offender, and a physical altercation ensued, where they both received lacerations to their hands.
The offender fled from the home in an unknown direction and emergency services were contacted.
The man has only been described, as being dressed all in black, and was armed with a small knife.
The 31-year-old man and 18-year-old man were both conveyed to Liverpool Hospital by Ambulance paramedics.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
