Territory Labor is opening more opportunities for young Territorians to have a direct say in their future.
Northern Territory Youth Round Table (YRT) members get a direct line of communication to the NT Government, working with the Office of Youth Affairs.
Applications to join the next Round Table are now open but, with only a week until close, young Territorians who are keen to champion their community are encouraged to apply before the 6 November deadline.
The YRT is an important advisory body that gives participants a platform to share their views about issues that young people care about.
As well as the opportunity to advise government departments on youth policies and strategies, YRT members have the opportunity to develop leadership skills including through media training, public speaking and communication skills, project management and team building.
Recruitment is also open for NT Youth Week Ambassadors who help with the planning of Youth Week activities and act as spokespeople to represent the youth voice of their region.
For details on how to apply, visit: youth.nt.gov.au [https://www.youth.nt.gov.au].
