‘Tis season to be jolly

From a horse and carriage ride with Santa to the iconic Carols by Candlelight event to pop-up craft sessions and the popular New Year’s Eve fireworks display, there is plenty to see and do this festive season.

Bring your family and friends together for a night of song, friendship and fun at the on Sunday, December 15 at Willow Park.

If family are visiting these holidays, make sure to give them a tour of our new-look main street and take advantage of the many culinary experiences around to tantalise their tastebuds.

Junction Place, complete with the water play area, is a great place to relax and stay cool on a hot summer’s day.

While at Junction Place, enjoy the festive surrounds with the recently installed Christmas tree and neighbouring decorations.

If you are looking for something to keep yourself and children occupied then mark your diary for Christmas craft activity at Wodonga Plaza on December 14 from 11am to 2pm.

Get into the spirt of Christmas with our event that involves horse and carriage rides along High St with the man in the red suit himself with the opportunity to take photos with Santa on your return.

Local musician Nathan Vaccaro will be singing carols and children’s Christmas tunes and there will be festive face painting by Santa’s helpers.

Tickets are $10 per group (up to four people) and are available via The Cube Wodonga box office in person, or online . Get in quick to secure your spot as spaces are limited. No ticket sales on the day.

Please note: Carriage rides include up to eight guests per trip and will depart from the long-vehicle parking bay near the Water Tower in High St.

Assemble in Woodland Grove five minutes prior to your scheduled time and be sure to have your tickets ready to present to Santa’s helpers on the day.

Looking for more? Local entertainers White Dog and The Reed Man, Good Gravy, Jarred Buckley and Wayne Guihart will entertain you these holidays at the Christmas-themed Cube Session on December 20 from 7pm. Tickets cost $5.

There will be a pop-up bar, photo booth, a snow machine, giant games, lots of entertainment and free nibbles.

Bring in the New Year with family and friends at Birallee Park for the New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular on Tuesday, December 31. Gates open at 5pm.

An evening of family fun with rides, food stalls, live music and entertainment.

Free entry. Fireworks start at 10pm.
