Tokyo Tech Admissions Fair Online Thailand held

On December 18, 2021, the Institute’s Admissions Section held Tokyo Tech Admissions Fair Online Thailand, co-sponsored by Tokyo Tech and the Thailand chapter of the Tokyo Tech Alumni Association, as part of the Tokyo Tech GLOBAL Webinars series.

The event featured a number of speeches by Tokyo Tech graduates and current students from Thailand, a nation where the Institute has developed strong links through achievements such as ANNEX Bangkok and the TAIST program. Participants included a diverse group of individuals ranging from high school students to working adults mainly from Thailand, but also from Nepal, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Indonesia.

The program kicked off with opening remarks by Professor Vilas Wuwongse, president of the Thailand chapter of the Tokyo Tech Alumni Association, and Professor Junichi Takada, vice president for international affairs at Tokyo Tech. These were followed by speeches from Thai graduates and a current student of Tokyo Tech, as well as an introduction and Q&A session about Tokyo Tech by a faculty member.
