Tourism Council WA welcomes the EverNow King’s Park event announced by State Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti today.
Tourism Council WA CEO Evan Hall said as the economy slows down, new events and attractions are needed to grow tourism and jobs.
“We welcome the vision for tourism outlined by Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti today, and particularly the focus on facilitating investment in new tourism accommodation and attractions,” he said.
Mr Hall said holding events including EverNow throughout the calendar year, expanding the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre to host more business delegates, and attracting airlines to recover our international markets and reduce airfares to WA will help boost the WA tourism industry.
