Mayor of Hume City, Councillor Carly Moore said that when it came to ensuring that the Town Hall’s food offering matched the quality of the building it is served in, Peter Rowland, as a trusted and respected name in the hospitality industry for over half a century was the obvious choice.
“We’re passionate about amazing food. That’s why we’ve partnered with Peter Rowland as our exclusive caterer, who continually innovate and strive for excellence, and most importantly, have the experience and capacity to deliver as promised, each and every time,” Cr Moore said.
It has created more than 10,000 memorable parties and weddings as well as being the caterer of choice for premium hospitality events including the Melbourne Cup Carnival, the Australian Formula One Grand Prix, Avalon Air Show, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and Melbourne Fashion Festival.
“This experience and passion for delivering extraordinary events will ensure guests leave with a lasting memory of warm hospitality, having enjoyed a majestic building that will once again serve our community for many decades to come,” Cr Moore said.
Emma Yee, CEO of Peter Rowland said the similarity in business philosophies, including passion for exceptional food and service, and flexibility to adapt to suit any occasion were what drew her to the partnership.

Accommodating a workforce of 120 full time and up to 4,000 part-time front of house event staff each year, Peter Rowland are one of the largest employers in the hospitality sector and are committed to creating jobs for locals.
Town Hall Broadmeadows is owned and operated by Hume City Council. The redevelopment project is a combination of $18 million funding from Hume City Council and a $7 million contribution from the Victorian Government.
