Toyota Australia has extended its longstanding partnership with Adelaide Football Club as the major partner for a further four years, until the end of the 2027 season.
Toyota has been a partner of the Adelaide Crows since the club’s inception in 1991 and it is one of the most enduring relationships in Australian sport with the partnership entering its 33rd year in 2023.
The latest renewal was announced by Adelaide Football Club’s CEO Tim Silvers at a launch event for corporate partners on Monday night ahead of the 2023 AFL season.
The renewed partnership will see Toyota Australia remain on the front of the club’s guernsey and across AFL apparel while the Crows will support Toyota’s vision of creating mobility for all with a range of new initiatives.
Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer, Vin Naidoo said Toyota is extremely proud to be extending its long-standing relationship with Adelaide Football Club for a further four years as Major Partner.
“We are excited to further strengthen our relationship with the club, and continue working alongside such an exceptional team, in such an exceptional football city.”
“Toyota and Adelaide Football Club share a real passion for pushing the game forward and finding ways to help our local community, and we look forward to seeing this partnership take our community initiatives to the next level.”
The extended partnership will see Adelaide Crows continue to support Toyota’s Good for Footy program, which has provided over $9 million in funding to thousands of grassroots clubs across the country.
Both Adelaide Football Club and Toyota Australia are committed to raising awareness of the program and the benefits it delivers to local communities, particularly in South Australia.
Toyota Australia will remain as a key part of the Club’s match day activations and engaging the Club’s members and fans with family focused events across the metropolitan area.
Crows CEO Tim Silvers said the Club was excited to continue its association with Toyota and proud of the partnership they had formed over three decades.
“As our Major Partner, Toyota is at the forefront of everything we deliver and we’re extremely pleased they will continue to play such a significant role at our Club,” Silvers said.
“Toyota is all about inspiring progress and enriching the communities in which they operate. They are committed to growing Australian Rules Football from the ground up, so our partnership has always been about much more than just a logo on the front of our guernsey.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the support the entire Toyota family has provided the Club since day one and for the subsequent 32 years, and also for the belief they have in our future.”
