Police have established a marine exclusion zone off Kings Beach in Bowen from today, July 20, to August 19 as part of a military training exercise.
The closed area (pictured) will be used by military vessels, aircraft and personnel from the US and Australia during .
Boaties and other recreational water users are requested to avoid the area, which stretches approximately three nautical miles off the coast of Kings Beach, near McCanes Bay, at Bowen.
