Applications for Toowoomba Regional Council’s (TRC) next round of community grants open earlier than normal from January 1, 2020.
TRC Environment and Community Services Committee chair Cr Geoff McDonald said community and not-for-profit groups were welcome to apply for funding to assist their project or event.
Applications must be lodged by February 3, 2020.
Cr McDonald said the regular application schedule had been brought forward to allow Council to review and finalise successful grant applications before the March 28, 2020 local government election.
Cr McDonald said the current funding program covered applications for the Sport and Recreation, Event Support, Community Support, Community Economic Development, Environment, Cultural and Arts Support and Sports Tourism grants.
