A man has been injured after a two-vehicle crash in the state’s Central West last night.
About 7.45pm (Thursday 29 March 2019), emergency services were called to Henry Parkes Way, about 15km east of Parkes, following reports a truck and tractor collided.
The truck driver, a 75-year-old man, was trapped in the vehicle for a short time before he released and airlifted to Liverpool Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
The 50-year-old male driver of the tractor was not injured.
Officers from Central West Police District attended and established a crime scene, with police from the Crash Investigation Unit to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Anyone witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the crash is urged to come forward.
