Police are searching for two men following two armed robberies in Dakabin and Aspley tonight.
Around 8pm, a man armed with hand gun entered a supermarket on Whitehorse Road, Dakabin and demanded cash. When the cash register was opened, he grabbed the contents and fled on foot.
Around 9.30pm, two men, one armed with a hand gun, entered a pharmacy on Gympie Road in Aspley and demanded prescription drugs and cash. After the staff put money and medication into plastic bags and handed them over, the offenders fled and were last seen heading north through the car park.
Police believe one of the offenders was involved in both robberies. He is described as Caucasian with a slim build and approximately 180cm tall.
The second man in the Aspley robbery is described as Caucasian with a slim build.
No one was physically injured during these incidents.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything or has dashcam that may have captured the offenders entering or leaving either scene to contact police.
