An investigation is underway after two men were assaulted during a home invasion in the Lake Illawarra region tonight.
About 9.20pm (Tuesday 25 April 2020), police were called to Burke Road, Dapto, following reports two men had forced entry into a unit.
Police have been told the men stabbed a 28-year-old man and punched a 41-year-old man before stealing a car form the location.
The younger man suffered a minor stab wound to his hand and leg and was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Wollongong Hospital.
The older man suffered a minor face injury.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District have established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
