A man and a woman have been charged with multiple drug offences following two search warrants in Wollongong in April.
About 12.30pm on Wednesday 5 April 2023, officers attached to Wollongong Police District attended a unit on 51 Crown Street, Wollongong. Police were looking for a 29-year-old woman who was wanted since 2018 for drug matters.
Police located the woman who was in the company of a 37-year-old man. The man was in possession of $3,300 and two key fobs and a set of keys. The cash and keys were seized by police.
Following extensive inquires by detectives, police executed two search warrants at two units on Crown Street, Wollongong.
During a search of both units officers located 1.75kg cannabis; 810grams cocaine; 23.89 grams LSD; 1.62kg methylamphetamine; 26.7g alprazolam; 19.8 gram dexamphetamine; 3.85gram psilocin, as well as a hydraulic pill press machine, tablet cutters, mixing equipment, drug ledgers and ammunition.
The man was charged with 25 offences;

The man appeared before Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday 11 July 2023. He was granted conditional bail to appear before Wollongong Local Court on Wednesday 30 August 2023.
On Thursday 13 July 2023, the woman was arrested at Wollongong Police Station. She was charged with 14 offences;
