Two teenage boys have been arrested after the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in Kellyville yesterday.
Emergency services were called to a Reserve on Wrights Road just before 4pm (Tuesday 10 September 2019).
The two teenage boys – aged 15 and 16 – and another unknown male, approached the 15-year-old boy in the Reserve and allegedly stabbed him in the abdomen before removing his shoes and hat.
Officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended
The 15-year-old was taken by road ambulance to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. He is in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
A crime scene at Wrights Road Reserve was established and police arrested two boys – aged 15 and 16 – nearby.
Upon searching the two boys, officers located the hat and shoes owned by the 15-year-old boy who had been stabbed.
Both the 15 and 16-year-olds were taken to Castle Hill Police Station and charged with aggravated robbery with wounding/ grievous bodily harm and affray.
They were granted conditional bail to appear before a Children’s court on Tuesday 1 October 2019.
A third male was questioned by police but released without charges. Investigations into the incident are continuing.
