Werribee Police have charged a man and woman with multiple drug trafficking offences after a welfare check in Point Cook on Friday (29 November).
Police located the man and woman unconscious in a silver commodore with the engine running on Ranfurlie Avenue about 6.30am.
The man’s car was subsequently defected and impounded.
A search of the car resulted in police finding what is alleged to be 33 grams of methamphetamine, 233 grams of GHB, 1.7 grams of ecstasy, stolen goods and cash.
A warrant executed at the man’s home resulted in investigators finding what is alleged to be ecstasy and methamphetamine.
The 23-year-old Point Cook man was charged with trafficking drugs of dependence, possessing drugs of dependence, committing an indictable offence whilst on bail and driving whilst disqualified.
The 22-year-old South Kingsville woman was charged with trafficking drugs of dependence, possessing drugs of dependence and handle stolen goods.
Both have been remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
