Unlawful entries in Alice Springs 15 October

Members of Strike Force Viper are investigating three separate unlawful entries including one in which a man was assaulted by an unknown offender inside his home earlier today.

The victim told police he had woken up to see what his dog was barking at when he observed an unknown person inside him home on Lyndavale Drive just before 5am.

It is alleged the offender struck the victim before fleeing via the dog-door that had been removed from the screen door by the offender.

A third residence on Karee Court had also been unlawful entered and a dark grey Ford Focus with QLD registration 233 ZBQ was stolen.

A neighbouring home had been unlawfully entered the previous evening and a green and white Kawasaki KX450 trail bike, jewellery, watches and alcohol were stolen.

The dark grey Ford Focus with QLD registration 233 ZBQ and the white and green Kawasaki KX450 trail bike remain outstanding. Police urge anyone who may have information in regards to the whereabouts of these vehicles to contact them on 131 444.

Police are calling for anyone with dash cam footage who was travelling in the area of Lyndavale Drive, Bokhara Street or Engoordina Drive between the hours of 4 and 6am today, to contact police on 131 444 or report to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppersnt.com.au and quote PROMIS number 981967.
