Unlawful use of motor vehicle charges, Mount Louisa

Five teenagers have been charged after an allegedly stolen Toyota Landcruiser Prado was involved in a traffic crash yesterday morning.

Around 4.50am, an alleged stolen vehicle was located on Knox Crescent, Mount Louisa.

Police will allege the vehicle reversed into a parked civilian vehicle, before colliding with two stationary police vehicles.

No one was injured during the incident.

The three vehicles sustained moderate damage.

Police took five juveniles into custody at the scene.

It will be further alleged the Toyota Landcruiser Prado was stolen from a Curacoa Court, Wulguru address in the early hours of April 16.

A 16-year-old girl was charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving of a motor vehicle without a driver licence and attempted enter dwelling. Her bail was refused.

A 17-year-old girl was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempted enter dwelling.

A 13-year-old girl was charged with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempted enter dwelling. Her bail was refused.

A 13-year-old boy with one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and attempted enter dwelling. His bail was refused.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with two counts each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter dwelling and commit and one count of attempted enter dwelling. His bail was refused.

All five will face Townsville Childrens Court at a later date.
