PRESERVING SEASONAL PRODUCE
Saturday 5 March, 3pm – 5pm

Learn how to preserve fruits and vegetables during times of abundance.
Join Robyn from Mount Martha House Community Garden in a hands-on, two-hour workshop in the gorgeous setting of the Eco Living Display Centre.
This class is seasonally focused and covers a range of techniques. The class includes tips for bottling and preserving at home. You will also get to take home a jar of deliciousness!
As per government regulations, you will be asked to email through your vaccination certificate showing at least double vaccination prior to the workshop.

SOURDOUGH BREAD MAKING WORKSHOP

All are welcome to this relaxed and enjoyable workshop where sourdough expert Warwickwill lead you through the process of creating your own sourdough bread.
You will leave with dough to take home and bake later, as well as a sourdough starter.
Participants can enjoy a light lunch following the workshop.

Celebrate Compost Week by finding out everything you need to know about composting and worm farms at our Eco Centre.
All are welcome to this hands-on workshop, where our composting expert will provide insights into creating a rich and natural conditioner for your garden, explain the pros and cons of composting vs worm farms and tips for composting in small spaces.
