Investigations in relation to the theft of a police-issued firearm in Townsville on Sunday has resulted in the firearm and ammunition being recovered today, November 28.
This matter remains the subject of an internal investigation by the QPS Ethical Standards Command.
Four men were charged earlier this week in relation to the theft of the firearm.
