As stated by Detective Inspector Scott Beard, Auckland City CIB:
Police have identified a person of interest in relation to the death of Onehunga woman Maria Brown.
A homicide investigation was launched after a family member found the 77-year-old deceased at a Moana Avenue, Onehunga address around 10am on Sunday 5 June.
Police can confirm a person of interest has been identified and that this person is not at large in the community.
