A man has died from injuries sustained in a traffic crash in Mossman on August 29.
A Toyota Rav4 was travelling within Bill Reese Park near the rest area, which is accessed from Mossman Daintree Road, just after 8pm when the vehicle struck a 28-year-old male pedestrian.
The 27-year-old driver immediately pulled over and started performing CPR.
The 28-year-old male pedestrian was transported to Cairns Hospital where he died yesterday.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
