Police have charged a man in relation to the sexual assault of a woman at Surfers Paradise in December.
It will be alleged shortly after midnight on Wednesday December 12, a 22-year-old woman was walking on The Esplanade, near Eileen Peters Park, when she was approached by a man who grabbed her inappropriately.
Police released vision of the man and information from the public led to the arrest of a man yesterday afternoon.
The woman did not sustain any physical injures as a result of the incident.
A 31-year-old Burleigh Waters man has been charged with one count of sexual assault and will appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on January 31.
