Please As stated by Detective Senior Sergeant Colin Baillie:
Police can now name the person who was located deceased at a property on Gilberthorpes Road, Hei Hei on 11 April.
He was 33-year-old Rikiana Hirawani, the resident of the address.
Following a post-mortem examination, the death is not being treated as suspicious and will be referred to the Coroner.
Enquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the death of Mr Hiriwani.
Cordons around the property will be removed this afternoon, when the scene examination has been completed.
Police wish to thank the community of Gilberthorpes Road for their understanding and assistance while Police carried out an extensive scene examination and made enquiries in the area.
Police extend our condolences to Mr Hiriwani’s family.
