New figures show agriculture is booming despite floods

Despite devasting floods across five states, Australian agriculture has had an outstanding 12 months according to new data from the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES).

The Governor in Council by Order made under section 10 of the Public Administration Act 2004: (a) establishes the Department of Government Services; (b) changes the name of the Department of Transport to the Department of Transport and Planning; (c) changes the name of the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions to the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions; (d) changes the name of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning to the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action; and (e) changes the name of the Department of Education and Training to the Department of Education. This Order comes into effect on 1 January 2023.
