Vision released from Birkdale burglary

Detectives from Wynnum Criminal Investigation Branch have released CCTV of a break-in at a Birkdale supermarket last month.

Around 2.40am on Saturday April 4, a stolen utility was reversed into the glass front doors of the Birkdale Road business causing extensive damage.

Two people exited the vehicle, one armed with a crow bar, and stole property including a large quantity of cigarettes, before leaving in the utility.

Police are appealing for anyone who has any information about this offence to contact them (details below).

The utility, a white 2006 Nissan Navara with silver tray-back and displaying stolen registration plates, was stolen from Slack Creek on April 1 and located burnt out at Rochedale on April 6.
