Volunteer Award winners annouced

Recognising volunteers in Stonnington

On Tuesday 16 November we were pleased to announce the winners of our first annual City of Stonnington Volunteer Awards.

These awards celebrate people and community groups whose commitment to volunteering make a difference to our local community, positively impact the lives of others and make our city a better place to live.

We asked our community to nominate volunteers who showed leadership or who act as positive role models for other community members or organisations. We asked for people and groups who made an outstanding contribution, through volunteering, to the Stonnington community throughout 2020 and/or over a number of years and who made a positive impact on the lives of others.

The awards were announced at an online award ceremony and each recipient has also been invited to visit the Council offices for an official presentation of their award.
