- Applications now open for start-ups, scaleups and companies to be involved
The Cook Government has announced a new accelerator program to assist local innovation and technology companies to prepare and expand their businesses into the United States market.
Innovation and the Digital Economy Minister Stephen Dawson said applications are now open for the Government’s Global Growth Accelerator Program for Critical Tech with opportunities for start-ups and scaleups to also get a helping hand to make the jump.
Applications are invited from companies in critical technologies, mining and/or energy technologies, and other sectors with dual-use applications.
The Accelerator Program will run over three months, combining virtual and in-person components.
Those businesses selected for the program will have the opportunity to network and engage with customers, industry leaders, investors, and strategic partners to launch their US market expansion.
Participants will be equipped with tools, knowledge, and networks to refine their go-to-market strategies and gain access to US customers and investors.
The program will begin in December 2024 and concludes with participants taking an active role at South by Southwest (SXSW) 2025.
