The Cook Government is supporting an innovation business delegation to participate in the upcoming Vietnam Innovation Summit 2024 (VIS).
Innovation and the Digital Economy Minister Stephen Dawson said the delegation will have the opportunity to explore market access, expand their connections and showcase the Western Australian innovation ecosystem to a global audience.
VIS is an annual event in Vietnam that brings together policymakers, regional funds, leading corporations, fast-growing start-ups, accelerators and influencers from around the world to discuss the next wave of innovation. This year’s event will run from 15-16 November.
Following an expression of interest process conducted by Invest and Trade Western Australia, the following four WA companies were selected:
- CX Insight assists organisations to accelerate digital transformation through agile and sustainable human-centered approaches;
- GENiUX Cleantech Group specialises in clean technology infrastructure and provides integrated utility solutions to achieve sustainability and reduce emissions;
- Ecopha is a biotechnology-based company that develops and commercialises biodegradable plastics; and
- C4C Packaging specialises in sustainable processing and packaging solutions for beverages.
Invest and Trade Western Australia is supporting delegates with business meetings, site visits and networking activities in Hanoi before they participate in the VIS main conference and side events in Ho Chi Minh City.
It is expected more than 2,000 visitors and potential partners will attend VIS 2024 this year.
