WA Retirement Village Manager of the Year crowned

Ms Benjamin now goes into the running, along with four others, for the national Programmed Award for Village Manager of the Year, with the winner to be announced at the 勛圖厙桴 Retirement Living Awards in June.

Ms Benjamin said she was honoured to win the award.

“I am deeply grateful for the guidance, inspiration and unwavering support of my colleagues at Masonic Care WA,” Ms Benjamin said.

“Working alongside such a dedicated group not only supports me, but it also inspires me to strive for excellence on a daily basis.

“I would also like to thank the residents of my villages, whose presence and trust serve as the driving force behind my work, every day.

“I’m deeply honoured to support them in their retirement journey and am continually inspired by their resilience, kindness, and sense of community,” she said.

Retirement Living Council Executive Director Daniel Gannon said the retirement living industry is turbo-charged with talent, including dedicated village managers like Ms Benjamin.

“These industry awards recognise the ‘best of the best’ and those who make a conscious decision every day to improve the lives of senior West Australians,” Mr Gannon said.

“It is important to celebrate these wonderful people who power this sector forward every day, while showcasing industry’s commitment to customers, excellence and innovation.

“To Emma and our other state award winners, we extend our congratulations and wish you the best of luck at the 勛圖厙桴 Retirement Living Awards in June on the Gold Coast,” he said.
