Major Crash officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred about 1.40pm yesterday, Sunday 13 October 2019, in Walpole.
A white 2003 model Subaru Forester was travelling in an easterly direction along Allen Road. As the vehicle approached Jacksonii Avenue, the vehicle left the carriageway and hit a tree.
The rear passenger, a two-year-old boy received serious head injuries and was conveyed to Albany Hospital before being airlifted by the Royal Flying Doctor Service to the Perth Children’s Hospital.
The 39-year-old male driver was not injured in the crash.
Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Subaru Forester travelling in the area prior to the crash, and ask anyone who was in the vicinity around the time of the crash who has dash-cam vision to come forward.
