About 3:15pm, a black Ford Focus hatchback was travelling north along Wanneroo Road and a grey Holden Commodore sedan was travelling east on Noonan Drive, when they collided at the intersection of Wanneroo Road and Noonan Drive. The force of the crash sent both vehicles into a light pole situated on the median strip on Wanneroo Road.
The driver of the Holden Commodore, a 69-year-old man, was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries. The 21-year-old male driver of the Ford Focus sustained minor injuries and was taken to Joondalup Heal Campus.
Road Policing Group officer are urging anyone who saw the crash, or saw the Black Ford Focus hatchback or the grey Holden Commodore sedan travelling in the area prior to the crash, or who has any information relating to this crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at .
