A replacement of the water main will begin weather permitting, Tuesday 13 September 2022 on Chusan Street, Bombala.
This essential work will run through September and October 2022, weather permitting.
Works will be undertaken between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday, with weekend work carried out if required.
Local traffic will be permitted under site staff direction. The road will be closed to all other traffic.
Water shutdowns will be communicated to affected households in-person and with a letter drop two days prior to the shutdown.
Snowy Monaro Regional Council staff and contractors will require access onto private property at times to complete new water service line connections as part of the replacement project.
No access onto private property will be required on weekends.
Leed has been awarded this contract and will be issuing notices directly to individual residents prior to any works being conducted on private property.
Council apologises for any inconvenience this work may cause and asks residents and motorists to be mindful of crews and machinery that will be working on and around this project.
