³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾

We’re looking for older adults to be part of an exciting new intergenerational program

The Warm Safe ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ project brings together older and younger people to have fun, share stories and learn from one another.

What to expect from the Warm Safe ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ project

  • Students and older adults work together to create and decorate small-scaled model houses that represent what a warm, safe home means to them.
  • Activities will take place weekly at Bayside primary schools between 15 July – 15 September 2024.
  • You can take part once or many times.
  • Teachers and Council staff will support participants.
  • Adults must have a Working with Children Check or be willing to get one. Council staff can assist with this.
  • An exhibition of all decorated houses will be displayed in a special event during Childrens Week in October.

The Warm Safe ³Ô¹ÏÍøÕ¾ project is supported by Seniors Rights Victoria, Council on the Ageing (COTA) and Housing for the Aged Action Group (HAAG).
